Include this easy and simple khichdi in your diet to shed those extra kilos.
½ cup moong dal, 1 tsp salt, 1.5 tsp refined oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 10 gm ginger-garlic paste, 2 tomato, 4 gm coriander, 0.5 cups brown rice, 2 green chillies
Wash and soak rice and dal separately for 30 min. Heat oil in a vessel and add cumin seeds let it splutter.
Add green chillies, ginger - garlic paste sauté properly.
Then add the powdered spices along with tomato and sauté till masala is cooked.
Add the soaked rice and dal along with water and salt. Mix and cover with the lid.
Cook until it's done, check seasoning and mix in the chopped coriander. Serve hot.
