Moong dal is a rich source of protein and other nutrients. It can be used to prepare a wide variety of recipes, including dosa. Follow this step-by-step guide to prepare moong dal dosa at home.
2 dried red chillies 1 cup moong dal 1.5 cups water 2 green chillies 1-inch ginger 2 tbsp ghee ⅓ tsp salt ¼ tsp cumin powder
Rinse and wash moong dal thoroughly. Soak it for 20 minutes.
Grind the lentils with red chillies, green chillies, ginger and red chillies.
Sprinkle salt and cumin powder on the top and keep the batter aside for 15-20 minutes.
Heat a griddle and spread a thin layer of batter on it.
Pour ghee on the edges and roast the base.
Enjoy moong dal dosa with chutney on the side.
