Moong dal chilla with paneer is the ultimate choice for breakfast on rushed mornings. Not only will it satisfy your hunger but also keep you satiated until lunch. Rich in protein, this recipe is a must-try for every home chef and working professional.
4 cups soaked moong dal 80 grams of paneer Salt to taste 1 tsp cumin seeds 1-inch ginger ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 green chilli 2 tbsp coriander leaves ¼ tsp pepper Water as needed 2 tbsp butter
Blend soaked moong dal with cumin seeds, ginger, and green chillies.
Sprinkle red chilli powder and salt, and keep the blend aside.
Grate paneer on a plate and mix it with salt, pepper, coriander leaves, and chilli powder.
Heat a griddle, and pour a ladle full of the batter. Spread it into a thin layer.
Add butter in the middle and on the edges. Add paneer mixture in the centre.
As soon as the base is crispy, serve the chilla with chutney and ketchup.
