When you are wondering about what to cook, soak moong dal. A bowl of lentils is a starting ingredient in many dishes and you can hone your culinary skills by cooking a variety of delicacies like chilla.
1 cup soaked moong dal 2 green chillies Salt to taste 80 grams paneer Water as needed 2 tbsp coriander leaves ½ roasted cumin powder 1 tsp red chilli powder
Rinse and soak moong dal for at least 50-60 minutes. Blend it into a smooth paste along with green chillies.
Add salt and some water to this mixture to adjust the consistency. It should neither be too thick nor runny.
On a plate, grate paneer and top it with cumin powder, salt to taste, red chilli powder, and coriander leaves.
Heat a pan and sprinkle water to test if it sizzles.
Add a ladle of moong dal batter and spread it across the pan.
Add butter or ghee on the side, spread the paneer mixture, and once the base turns brown, serve and enjoy!
