Monsoon-Special Jamun Raita That Even Diabetics Can Enjoy

Perfect for the health conscious and the monsoon season when jamun or black plums are available in their sweetest avatar, this jamun raita is a must-have for all. Try out this recipe.

Ingredients:

1 cup jamun 2 cups dahi 1 green chilli, finely chopped ½ tsp black salt ½ tsp chaat masala ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp roasted cumin powder 1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped 

Step 1

Deseed and chop all the jamun and place in a large bowl.

Step 2

Add the dahi and mix well until the curd is smooth and has a slight purple tinge.

Step 3

Add the green chilli, black salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder and mix well.

Step 4

Place the prepared Jamun Raita in the refrigerator until your meal starts.

Step 5

Transfer into serving bowls, top with coriander leaves and enjoy the Jamun Raita.
