Monsoon Special Fruit Salad: Prepare At Home In Some Easy Steps

Homemade fruit salad is a refreshing and healthy dish, perfect for summer. Packed with juicy, nutrient-rich fruits, this easy-to-make recipe is a delightful way to enjoy a burst of natural sweetness.

Ingredients

2 ripe mangoes 2 medium bananas 2-3 chikoos (optional) 1 small papaya (or ½ large) ⅓ cup chopped strawberries 3-4 fresh figs ⅓ cup pomegranate arils

2 tbsp chopped cashews (optional) 2 tbsp chopped almonds or walnuts (optional) 2 tbsp chopped pistachios (optional) 1 tbsp honey (optional) 5-6 mint leaves (optional)

Step 1

Rinse all the fruits thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean towel.

Step 2

Peel and chop the mangoes, bananas, chikoos, papaya, strawberries, and figs into small, even pieces.

Step 3

Remove the arils from the pomegranate and set them aside in a small bowl. Chop the cashews, almonds, and pistachios. Optionally, roast them lightly for extra flavour.

Step 4

Combine the chopped fruits, pomegranate arils, and nuts in a large salad bowl. Drizzle honey over the fruit mixture and gently toss everything to combine.

Step 5

Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve the fruit salad immediately for the best taste.
