Cabbage has many layers and folds which allows the bacteria and worms a good hiding place. Therefore, make sure to wash it thoroughly.
No doubt sprouts are the healthiest food on the earth, but they are also a home for harmful pathogens during monsoon.
Both these vegetables must be soaked in warm water before cooking to get rid of insects breeding on their leaves.
The skin of the cucumber is prone to infection causing germs, so scrub it properly while washing and make sure to peel it before consuming.
