Monsoon Cravings: Try Mirchi Bada With Sham Ki Chai

Ingredients

4 potatoes (peeled and chopped) 4 large green chili peppers 1 tsp chili powder 1 cup chickpea flour Water as required Oil for frying Salt to taste

Step 1

Boil potatoes and peel them. When the potatoes are cold enough, mash them.

Step 2

Now, slit green chili peppers and remove their seeds. Now, blanch them in boiling water. Dip them in cold water and drain again.

Step 3

Add chili powder and salt to the mashed potatoes. Slowly, put the masala into the slit chilies.

Step 4

In a bowl, add besan, salt and water. Mix and form a smooth batter. Coat the chilies into the batter.

Step 5

Heat oil in a pan and fry the chilies. When cooked properly, take out the excess oil and serve fresh.
