Mixed Fruit Jam:  A Healthy Breakfast Companion

Mixed fruit jam is a constant aid to people on the go, looking for an easy breakfast. It's a sweet spread that is also healthy. Here's the recipe to make mixed fruit jam.

Ingredients

2 chopped, peeled apple 2 chopped, peeled banana 2 chopped, peeled orange 6 chopped, peeled plums 7 chopped strawberry 1 chopped, peeled pineapple 1 cup sugar 1/2 tablespoon lime juice

Step 1

Blend all the chopped fruits until smooth to make a puree. Add the puree along with sugar and cook on medium flame by stirring continuously till it comes to a boil. Let it simmer until the puree thickens. Stir at regular intervals.

Step 2

Once the puree starts to thicken it will become like a semi-solid jam. Then add the lemon juice and mix well. Cook until the jam becomes thick. Keep stirring at regular intervals. Stop cooking once the desired consistency is reached.
