A common Bengali delicacy called mishti doi is made with milk and sugar. It is a decadent dessert that is suitable for any celebration.
1 liter of full-fat milk 1 cup of sugar 2 tablespoons of yogurt
Heat a pan with milk, keep stirring the milk to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30-35 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Now Add sugar to the milk and stir until it dissolves completely. Turn off the heat and let the milk cool down to room temperature.
Now add two tablespoons of yogurt and mix well. Now, pour the mixture into a bowl and set.
Place the containers in a warm place or wrap them in a warm towel and let the mishti doi set for about 8-10 hours.
Once the mishti doi has set, cool it down and serve chilled! Enjoy!
