Usually, people make malpua using maida which contains gluten. Moreover, people fasting during Navratri cannot consume it. Hence, you can prepare your favourite sweet using singhare ka atta.
1.5 cups cooked milk 1 cup chestnut flour Cashews Pistachios ½ cup coarse khoya 1/2 cup water 1 cup sugar Desi ghee for frying ¼ tsp crushed cardamom
Use a deep bowl to combine khoya, milk, and singhare ka atta.
Keep stirring until the batter is smooth and has no lumps.
In another pan, prepare sugar syrup using water and sugar. Top it with cardamom seeds.
Take a heavy-bottom kadhai and add ghee in it. Slowly add a ladle of batter in it.
Let the batter cook and turn brown. If the base is cooked, you can flip the disc.
Once cooked, dip the disc in sugar syrup and malpua is ready.
