Methi thepla is a traditional Gujarati breakfast that goes well with curd, pickle as well as chutneys. Here is an easy recipe to make methi thepla at home.
1 cup fresh fenugreek leaves (chopped), 1 ½ cup whole wheat flour, salt to taste, 1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste, 1 tsp carom seeds, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 cup yoghurt, 1 tbsp Oil, ghee for basting
Take methi leaves in a big plate and add salt, ginger- chilli paste, carom seeds, turmeric powder and chilli powder and mix well.

Add flour and yoghurt and mix well. Then add a little water and knead into the dough. Add 1 tbsp oil and knead again. Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes.

Divide it into equal portions and roll out into thin discs. Heat a non-stick tawa.

Roast the prepared theplas, turning sides and basting with ghee, till golden from both sides. Serve hot.
