Originating from Punjab, parathas are one of the most popular breakfast options that are now a staple across borders. For a healthy filling, you can make methi paratha and pair it with dahi.
1 cup whole wheat flour 1/4 cup chopped methi leaves 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 cup water Oil for cooking
Knead dough with atta, methi, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and water.
Take small portions of the dough and shape them into balls. Let them rest.
Roll each ball into a thin circle. Heat a tawa, drizzle some oil and cook the paratha.
Keep brushing with oil and flipping till the paratha is cooked on both sides.
Serve with dahi and your favourite achaar or chutney.
