As the monsoons intensify across India, the craving for a steaming cup of tea persists. However, skip the effort it takes each time to fix yourself a perfect cup of tea by combining a bunch of ingredients to make a masala chai blend.
¼ cup cardamom pods 2 tablespoons fennel seeds 2 teaspoons cloves 1 teaspoon ajwain seeds 2 teaspoons dry ginger powder 1-inch piece cinnamon ½ teaspoon black peppercorns
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and grind to a fine powder.
Transfer to an air-tight container and add a teaspoon to your tea leaf and water mixture while making tea.
Store for up to 2 months and enjoy.
