Mango is one of the most popular summer fruits. So, if you are looking for a summer dessert to please your sweet tooth, there is nothing more indulgent than mango trifle. Here’s to make it at home.
For the Mango Layer: 2 ripe mangoes 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice For the Custard Layer: 1 box instant custard mix 2 cups milk For Whipped Cream Layer: 2 cups heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For Assembly: 1 prebaked cake
Chop some mangoes and mix the pieces with sugar and lemon juice. Once mixed, set aside.
Make the vanilla custard by stirring the custard premix in milk and let it cool.
Whip the heavy cream, mixing it with powdered sugar and vanilla essence.
Assemble the trifle by arranging the first layer with crumbled cake.
Then, add a layer of the mango mixture, followed by custard.
Top it off with whipped cream and refrigerate the mango trifle before serving.
