Best served with rice dishes, mango pachadi is a delicious South Indian condiment that is prepared from raw mango. Here is an easy recipe to make it at home.
2 raw mangoes 2 green chillies (slit) 3–4 tablespoons jaggery salt to taste, 1 tablespoon of oil 2 dry red chillies 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
Peel and slice mangoes along with their seeds.
Place the mangoes in a pan and pour water over it. Simmer until cooked properly and add jaggery to it.
Heat oil in a pan and toss in dry red chillies and mustard seeds.
Pour over the pachadi and serve with steamed rice.
