This yummy side dish is prepared by cooking raw mangoes in a jaggery syrup along with tempered spices.
2 raw mangoes 1 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp fenugreek seeds 10 curry leaves 1/2 of coconut 2 tbsp curd (beaten) Salt as required
Cut peeled mangoes into small pieces. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and sauté curry leaves.
Add mango pieces and cook for a while with a little water sprinkled. Add salt. Grind coconut with mustard seeds. Now add the prepared paste.
Boil for a while and add curd. Heat for a while and add salt. Turn off the heat and serve.
