A luscious and surprisingly light dessert laced with fresh mango pulp, the mango mousse is an addictive dessert recipe that requires very little effort. Make this eggless mouse in a large batch to enjoy family-style or in individual portions if you’re hosting friends for dinner.
2 ripe mangoes, pureed 1 cup heavy cream, chilled 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon gelatin powder 2 tablespoons water
Add the gelatin powder to the water and mix well before resting for 5-10 minutes.
Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and set aside, while you combine the mango puree, gelatine and sugar in a separate bowl.
Fold the cream into the mango mixture gently and transfer to a large dish or individual cups.
Rest in the freezer to set for 3-4 hours before serving chilled.
