Malabar parotta is a flaky flatbread enjoyed with gravies and semi-dry curries. It is crispy and pairs well with non-vegetarian and vegetarian delicacies. Here is your guide to making this flatbread in your kitchen.
2 tbsp rava 2 cups maida 1 tsp salt Water as needed 1 tbsp sugar Oil for kneading 2 tbsp ghee
Take a large bowl and mix maida, rava, salt, sugar, and ghee.
Add water gradually to knead a smooth and soft dough.
Apply ghee on the surface and let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
Roll a small dough ball and cut it into strips.
Stack strips over each other, roll them and turn them into a ball.
Roll the dough again and roast it on a tawa with ghee or oil. Enjoy!
