There are a lot of benefits of making fruit jams at home. They are fresh, and do not have added preservatives. If you are thinking of preparing jams at home, here are a few tips you can use!
Depending upon your taste, you can choose the fruit that you like. Berries are healthier options.
Remove all leaves, stems and seeds of the fruits and chop them into pieces. Also add your choice of sweetener.
Mix chia seeds or other natural thickener to make a gel like cosistecy.
Cook the jam in a saucepan over medium heat till it thickens. Keep stirring.
Cool down the jam and store it in air-tight glass containers.. It will last really long.
