Paneer Paratha is a popular North Indian flatbread stuffed with a spiced paneer filling. It is typically enjoyed with yoghurt, pickles, or a side of raita and is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup paneer 1 green chilli 1 tsp grated ginger 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves Ghee
In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth, soft dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
In another bowl, mix grated paneer, chopped green chilli, grated ginger, cumin powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, and chopped coriander leaves.
Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll out one ball into a small circle. Place a generous amount of the paneer filling in the center of the circle.
Gather the edges of the dough and bring them together to seal the filling inside. Gently press down and roll out the filled dough ball into a flat, round paratha.
Heat a tawa and cook the paratha until the bottom side begins to brown, then flip it over..
Spread a little ghee on the cooked side, and then flip again to apply ghee on the other side. Cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
