There is nothing that screams summer more than ice cream and kulfi. These cold and sweet treats make the season beautiful. Here are some tips to make ice cream at home.
Only use full cream milk or condensed milk to make ice cream. It makes the texture creamy.
While setting the ice cream, cover it with butter paper to not have ice crystals.
If you are making a custard base ice cream, put it in the freezer only after it has cooled down completely.
Add extra flavourings like chocolate chips or almonds only after the ice cream batter has cooled down completely.
Use shallow containers to freeze the ice cream. For kulfi, use the traditional triangular moulds for best results.
