Adding fresh greens to your meals is always a good idea. Palak paratha is a nutritious Indian flatbread made with spinach and whole wheat flour. Rich in vitamins and minerals, this green paratha is both soft and crispy, perfect for breakfast or lunch.
2 cups whole wheat flour 1 bunch spinach (palak) 1 green chilli, chopped 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp garam masala Salt Water Oil
Mix whole wheat flour, finely chopped spinach, green chilli, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
Gradually add water and knead into a smooth, soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a round, dusting with flour as needed to prevent sticking.
Heat a tawa and place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa. Cook for a few seconds until bubbles appear, then flip.
Apply a little oil or ghee on both sides and cook until golden brown and crisp. Serve hot with yoghurt, pickle, or chutney.
