Chips are one of the most commonly eaten snacking items. We do not even realise when we finish packets of chips while binge watching our favourite shows. Here are some tricks that will help you make the crispiest chips at home.
For thin and crispy chips, peel the skin off of the potatoes before slicing them.
Thinly slice the potatoes using a sharp slicer. Thick slices tend to make soggy chips.
A very important tip is to leave the potato slices in salt water for about an hour. That removes starch from the potatoes.
Seasoning makes or breaks your chips. Use the right spices to season your chips according to your taste.
If you are looking for a healthier option, do not deep fry your chips. Rather, air fry or bake them!
