Resist the urge to press the patties with spatula while cooking it, as this forces the juice to come out.
Take the patties off the grill a bit early as there’s carryover cooking time as well.
Constant turning will toughen and dry out the meat and burgers will also stick to the cooking surface.
Adding salt to the ground meat changes its consistency therefore, add it right before placing on the grill.
For big burgers do not use very soft buns as it will soak all the juices and make it soggy and also do avoid an overly chewy crumb or a tough crust.
