Biscuits are one of the most commonly eaten snacks. They are fuss-free, easy to bake and eat and can be made nutritious and delicious according to your taste. Here are some tips to make biscuits at home.
Use cold butter instead of room temperature to make the most crunchy and flaky biscuits.
Don't overwork the dough because that would make the biscuits hard. Mix only till the dough comes together.
Use a light hand while rolling out the cookies. Too much pressure makes the cookies dense.
Pre-heat the oven properly before putting in the biscuits. This will help the cookies rise.
Brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter before baking. This will help them brown and add flavour.
