Banana bread is a delicious, moist, and versatile baked treat made with ripe bananas, flour, and simple ingredients like sugar, butter, and eggs. Making banana bread without an oven is easy using a stovetop or pressure cooker.

Ingredients

2 ripe bananas 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup oil or melted butter 1/4 cup milk 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Nuts, chocolate chips, or cinnamon Pinch of salt

Step 1

Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add sugar, oil, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Step 2

Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Fold it into the banana mixture until smooth.

Step 3

Grease a small cake pan or a heatproof bowl with oil or butter. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Step 4

Preheat a deep, heavy-bottomed pan or large skillet with a lid over medium heat for 5 minutes. Place a metal stand inside the pan.

Step 5

Place the banana bread pan on the stand, cover the large pan with a lid, and cook on low heat for 40-50 minutes. Check after 30 minutes by inserting a toothpick to see if it comes out clean.

Step 6

Once cooked, allow the bread to cool for 10-15 minutes, then remove it from the pan. Slice and enjoy.
