The festive season calls for indulging in sweets and mouth-watering delicacies. But who said they have to be unhealthy? Makhana chikki will be your healthy twist to the festive spread. Try this recipe.
¼ cup pumpkin seeds 1 cup makhana ¼ cup dates ½ cup sunflower seeds 4 tbsp peanut butter 4 tbsp honey
Roast makhana in a kadhai until they are crispy and grind them coarsely in the food processor.
Roast and grind sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds too.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl with peanut butter. Use your hands to mash everything and mix.
Top this mix with crushed nuts if you want to make it healthier.
Spread the mix on a baking tray lined with sheets.
Freeze the mixture and cut it into rectangles. Protein snack bars will be ready.
