One of the most peaceful aspects of a chai person’s day includes relishing a hot cup of tea at home or office while the rain washes the city. To make your tea more delightful during monsoon, you can add chai masala to it and infuse it with earthy notes and spicy flavours.
1-2 cardamom 3 tbsp cloves 2 cinnamon sticks ½ tsp black peppercorns 1 tsp nutmeg ¼ cup dried ginger
Heat a saucepan and dry roast cloves, peppercorns, and cinnamon.
After a minute, turn off the flame and add nutmeg, ginger, and cardamom to the pan.
Toss the ingredients for a minute and keep them aside to cool off.
Grind the spices in a dry jar to ensure no moisture seems into them.
Turn the ingredients into a smooth powder and store in an airtight jar.
Whenever you make tea, add a pinch of this spice mixture to the concoction.
