Chaat masala is a tangy, spicy Indian spice blend that enhances the flavour of snacks, salads, and fruits. Making it at home is easy and ensures fresh ingredients for the best taste.
Dry roast 2 tbsp cumin seeds and 1 tbsp coriander seeds until fragrant. Grind them into a fine powder.
Add 1 tsp black salt, 1 tsp regular salt, 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/2 tsp chilli powder. Mix in 1/4 tsp asafoetida and 1/2 tsp dried ginger powder.
Blend all ingredients together, store in an airtight container, and use as needed to add a zesty kick to your dishes!
