2 cups rice flour 1/2 cup powdered sugar or use grated jaggery 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup khus khus/ poppy seeds 1/4 ripe banana Ghee for frying

Combine grated jaggery powder and rice flour in a bowl.

Sprinkle milk little by little, kneading mixture into a soft dough. Keep the dough covered with a soft muslin cloth.

Add one mashed banana to the mixture and mix it thoroughly until combined.

Make small balls out of the dough and press gently to make it flat. Roll it over poppy seeds to make them stick to it.

Shallow fry the anarsa in medium hot oil until golden on low-medium heat. Keep pouring the hot oil on the centre of the anarsa to make it evenly brown.

Remove on a plate and let it cool before storing to make them crispy.
