Make This Mahashivratri Bhang Thandai At Home

Mahashivratri is quickly approaching! Without Bhang, this celebration would be lacking. Your event will run incredibly well with this recipe! Try this with your family and friends.

Ingredients

1/4 cup of sugar 4 and 1/2 cups milk 4 cup of crushed almonds 1 tablespoon fennel seeds 1 tablespoon poppy seeds 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder 2 teaspoons bhang Saffron Strands

Step 1

In a pan, combine the milk, sugar, and cardamom powder and simmer the mixture.

Step 2

Continue swirling the milk while you add the fennel seeds, poppy seeds, and almonds.

Step 3

Put the milk in the refrigerator to cool it down after a 5 minute mixing period. Milk should be strained after cooling.

Step 4

After that, include the main component, bhang, along with the saffron threads and pepper powder. Mix thoroughly.

Step 5

Take your brass or silver glass, decorate it with saffron, and then offer  it to Lord Shiva before you serve it to others.
