INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup semolina  1 chopped onion 1 chopped tomato  1 chopped capsicum  1 Chopped carrot  Salt, to taste  1 tbsp Kashimiri chilli powder  1 teaspoon oil  1 tbsp mustard seeds  4-5 curry leaves

STEP 1

Take a pan and dry roast semolina on slow flame for 2 minutes.

STEP 2

In the same pan add oil and temper the mustard seeds and curry leaves. Sauté the onion following that, until golden-brown.

STEP 3

Add the tomato and veggies to sauté it for a few minutes before adding the spices and letting everything cook for 2 minutes.

STEP 4

Add the semolina and mix it in, followed by a cup of water.

STEP 4

Cook for 5 minutes until the mixture absorbs water and becomes dry. Your healthy and tasty upma is ready.
