Make This Easy No-Flour Momo At Home

Love momos but not sure about the flour base? Why not try something else? In case you didn't know you can make a terrific momo base with a simple potato dough that's not just filling but also hearty. Here's the easy recipe!

Ingredients

– 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed – Salt to taste – 1 tablespoon vegetable oil – Water

Step 1

Boil the potatoes until they are soft. Peel and mash them thoroughly in a bowl. Add salt to taste and mix well. Optionally, you can add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to make the dough smoother.

Step 2

Allow the mashed potatoes to cool a bit. Start kneading the potatoes to form a smooth dough. If the dough is too dry, you can add a little water, but be cautious not to make it too wet.

Step 3

Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into balls. Flatten each ball into a round, thin disc. You can use a rolling pin or your hands. Add the momo filling in the center of the disc.

Step 4

Fold the disc in half, creating a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal the momo. Place the momos in a steamer and steam for about 15-20 minutes

Serve hot with spicy dipping sauce!
