Love gajar ka halwa? Here is an indulgent and mouthwatering way to preserve the halwa but also give it a twist. Try making this delightful gajar badam barfi at home. This dessert is not only rich flavour but also has the goodness of carrot, ghee, jaggery, and cashew.

200 Gm carrot 1 Tbsp ghee 1 Liter milk 1 Cup jaggery 1 Cup cashew 6 Saffron strands

Wash the carrots and grate them.

Take a pan add ghee and roast the cashew in it.

Transfer it to a grinder and grind it to make a smooth powder.

Take a pan and heat milk in it. Add the grated carrots and keep cooking until the mixture thickens.

Take another pan and add water with jaggery to make a smooth syrup.

Add this syrup to the carrot mixture along with the cashew powder.

Take a greased tray pour the mixture and allow it to set. Cut in the desired shape and enjoy the gajar barfis.
