Saag chicken is a must try dish for all those who do not want to compromise on taste while maintaining a healthy diet. It is a delicious dish and we have a simple 5 step recipe for you to make it.

Step 1

Gather the ingredients - boneless chicken pieces, spinach, methi, green chillies, ginger, garlic, and spices like turmeric, cumin, and coriander.

Step 2

Blanch the spinach, and methi in boiling water for a few minutes until wilted. Immediately transfer them to an ice bath and then drain.

Step 3

In a blender, combine the blanched greens, green chillies, ginger, and garlic. Blend until you have a smooth green paste.

Step 4

In a pan, heat oil and add the chicken pieces, cooking until they turn golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.

Step 5

In the same pan, add more oil and sauté the green paste. Add spices like turmeric, cumin, and coriander, then return the cooked chicken to the pan. Simmer for 10 mins.
