One of the classic green mint chutneys is a versatile condiment to serve with snacks or a main course to complete the meal. It is refreshing, spicy, and full of flavours. Here is its recipe.
30 grams mint 15 grams of coriander leaves 1-2 green chillies 1-inch ginger Salt to taste 2-3 cloves of garlic (optional) Water as needed
Wash and rinse mint and coriander leaves thoroughly to remove dirt and dust from them.
Remove the stem of the green chillies and roughly chop them into large chunks.
Add all the ingredients to the food processor along with ginger and salt.
If you like garlic, you can add the cloves to the blender. To enhance the taste, you can add masala or mango pickles as well.
Grind the ingredients into a smooth or coarse paste, depending on the texture you prefer.
Pour the chutney into an airtight jar and serve it with snacks or store it in the refrigerator.
