Bloody Mary is an iconic vodka and tomato juice-based cocktail that is packed with punchy ingredients, including hot sauces and vegetable-infused seasonings. This unique mix of ingredients imbues the cocktail with loads of flavour, making it a brunch favourite. Here’s an easy Bloody Mary recipe for you to try out.
100 ml vodka 500 ml tomato juice 1 tbsp lemon juice, plus 1–2 slices for garnish A few dashes of Worcestershire sauce A few dashes of Tabasco A pinch of celery salt A pinch of black pepper 1–2 celery sticks for garnish Lots of ice
Begin by arranging the ice in a big jug. Then, carefully weigh the vodka, tomato juice, and lemon juice, and in the quantities mentioned above, pour them onto the ice.
Add three dashes of the Worcestershire sauce and three dashes of Tabasco as well celery salt and black pepper to the above concoction. Increase or decrease the hot sauce levels based on your taste.
Shake the mixture vigorously until the exterior of the jug becomes chilly. Subsequently, strain the spice-packed drink into fancy cocktail glasses.
Add some more ice to the cocktail. Lastly, garnish the drink with lemon slices and celery sticks and enjoy your Bloody Mary is ready to enjoy!
