Jamun shots are best enjoyed chilled on a hot day, offering a burst of tangy-sweet flavour from the jamun fruit. They are not only refreshing but also packed with antioxidants and nutrients, making them a healthy choice for a quick drink or a party refreshment with an Indian twist.
Fresh jamun (black plum) fruit Sugar or honey Lemon juice Water or soda water Ice cubes
Wash the jamun fruit thoroughly. Remove the seeds and extract the pulp by squeezing or using a blender. Strain the pulp.
Depending on how tart the jamun is, add a bit of sugar or honey to sweeten it. Mix well until the sweetener dissolves.
For a tangy twist, add a squeeze of lemon juice to the jamun puree.

Fill shot glasses halfway with the prepared jamun puree. Add a few ice cubes to each glass. Fill the shot glasses to the top with cold water or soda water
Garnish with a slice of lemon or mint leaves.
