Winter is the season of indulging in the long-awaited warming treats that can only be enjoyed in cold season. To make the most out of winter’s bounty, here are some recipe ideas you can make at home.
Use winter root vegetables like carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes, and beets and roast them for side dishes or main dish.
Use different winter squashes like lauki, turai, kaddu and ash gourd to make different warming soups all winter.
Winter is the prime time to get the freshest supply of citrus fruits like oranges, mandarins, grapefruits and lime so make sure to use it in recipes.
Combine apples with cinnamon and honey dresssing with butter then bake it to caramelize and top with nuts for a comforting winter dessert.
