You have heard about various tandoori dishes, including naan and kulchas. But what about tandoori paratha? You can easily make this tandoori paratha at home without a tandoor or an oven, just in a pan. Keep reading!
1 cup whole wheat flour 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain) 1/4 cup warm water 2 tablespoons melted butter 1 teaspoon ghee Oil
Combine whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda, and carom seeds. Then, add warm water and mix until a dough forms and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grease it with a little oil. Place the rolled paratha on the griddle.
Cook for 1-2 minutes on one side until it puffs up and develops brown spots. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Brush the cooked side with melted ghee.
Serve hot with your favourite curry or chutney.
