Crispy, spicy, and full of flavour, peri-peri fries are the perfect snack to satisfy your cravings. Enjoy this homemade delight at any time.
4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries Oil for frying Salt to taste 1 tablespoon paprika 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon onion powder 1/2 tablespoon black pepper 1/2 tablespoon oregano 1/2 tablespoon salt 1/2 tablespoon sugar
Peel and cut potatoes into fries, then soak them in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.
Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, oregano, thyme, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan. Fry potatoes in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
While the fries are hot, toss them in the peri-peri seasoning and serve!
