Sambar powder is the essence of South Indian dishes. Instead getting sambar masala from the store next door, you easily make it at home in just 4 steps. Here’s a quick recipe.
125 grams coriander seeds 125 grams dry red chilli 100 grams toor dal 50 grams channa dal 25 grams pepper 25 grams raw turmeric 12 grams dry methi
Take all the ingredients and mix them in a large bowl.
Sun dry the mixture or roast till you get a fine aroma.
After a day, grind the mixture to get fine powder.
Transfer the sambar masala into an air-tight container and store it.
