Mysore Pak is a traditional South Indian dessert that can literally melt in your mouth. Here’s a quick recipe to make the fudge-like authentic sweet at your home.
1 cup besan 1.75 cups sugar ½ cup water 1 cup ghee ½ cup oil Cardamom powder for garnishing
Dissolve sugar in water on medium heat. In another pan, heat ghee and oil on low heat.
Sieve besan and it to the sugar syrup in batches. Stir continuously.
Add hot ghee to the besan mixture. Stir vigorously for about 15-20 minutes till everything is wee-combined.
Once the mixture is thicker, transfer it to a greased baking tray.
Garnish with cardamom powder. Let it cool, cut into squares, and serve.
