Spicy Chilli Paneer is a popular Indo-Chinese dish made with crispy paneer cubes tossed in a spicy, tangy sauce with bell peppers and onions.
250g paneer, cubed 1 large onion, diced 1 large green bell pepper, diced 2 green chillies, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1-inch ginger, minced 2 tablespoons of soy sauce 1 tablespoon chilli sauce 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon cornflour, dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water 2 tablespoons of oil Salt to taste Spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
Heat oil in a pan, fry the paneer cubes until golden brown and set aside.
In the pan, sauté garlic, ginger, and green chillies until fragrant.
Now, add onions and bell peppers and stir-fry until they are soft.
Stir in soy sauce, chilli sauce, and tomato ketchup. Add the cornflour mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
Add the fried paneer to the sauce, mix well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
