American Chop Suey is an Indo-Chinese fusion dish that is made with crispy fried noodles in a rich tomato-based sauce. Here's how you can make it just like your favourite restaurant does.
200 grams Hakka Noodles Oil for deep frying 1/2 cup shredded cabbage, carrot, capsicum 1/2 teaspoon chopped ginger and garlic 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon vinegar 1/2 tablespoon red chilli sauce 2 cups water 1 teaspoon sugar Salt to taste
Boil the noodles, drain them, and let them cool down. Deep fry till crispy.
In a pan, add some oil and cook onions, ginger, and garlic for a few minutes.
Add the shredded vegetables to the pan and cook till they are crispy.
Mix soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, and sugar in a bowl. Pour them on the veggies.
Add some water to get the desired consistency. Stir in fried noodles and mix till well-coated.
Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
