Pinni is a traditional Punjabi dessert that is made with whole wheat flour. To give it a healthier and wintery twist, you can make gajar pinni. Follow these steps to make an authentic winter treat.
500 grams grated carrots 200 grams ghee 200 grams sugar 1 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Heat some ghee and add grated carrots. Cook till carrots are soft.
Add sugar and cardamom powder until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
Mix in chopped nuts. Once well combined, remove the heat.
Shape the mixture into balls and serve.
