Paneer paratha is a classic North Indian stuffed flatbread. Filled with spiced, grated paneer, it's perfect for breakfast. Follow these simple steps to make soft, delicious paneer paratha in your kitchen.
2 cups whole wheat flour 1 tsp ghee or oil ½ tsp salt ⅔ cup water 200g paneer, grated 1 green chilli, chopped ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp garam masala ½ tsp dry mango powder ½ tsp salt Ghee for roasting
Knead the whole wheat flour, salt, ghee, and water into a soft dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Mix grated paneer with chillies, spices, and salt to prepare the stuffing. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into circles.
Roll the stuffed dough into a larger circle gently without tearing it.
Cook the paratha on a hot griddle, applying ghee until golden brown on both sides.
