Make Perfect Homemade Mango Lassi In Just 15 Minutes

Mango Lassi is a popular Indian drink combining the sweetness of ripe mangoes with the tangy flavour of yoghurt. This refreshing and creamy treat is quick to prepare and perfect for summer.

Ingredients

2 cups chopped mangoes (Alphonso or any sweet variety) 4-5 tbsp sugar or honey (optional) 2 cups cold or chilled yoghurt 2-3 tbsp light cream or malai (optional) 4-5 ice cubes

Step 1

Rinse, peel, and chop the mangoes into small pieces.

Step 2

Blend the chopped mangoes with sugar or honey and your choice of cardamom powder, saffron, or rose water.

Step 3

Add chilled yoghurt and light cream to the mango puree.

Step 4

Add ice cubes to the mixture if desired. Blend until all ingredients are smoothly combined and the mixture is creamy.

Step 5

Pour the mango lassi into glasses and serve immediately, garnished with mint leaves or nuts if desired.
