People crave pani puri because of the tangy and spicy concoction it is dipped in. Made with a handful of ingredients, pani puri water is what chaat lovers crave. No matter how spicy it is, you have to have some extra after you are done gulping down pani puri. Try this recipe and make this flavourful liquid at home.

½ cup mint leaves 1-inch ginger 1 cup chopped coriander leaves 1 tablespoon tamarind 4 tablespoons jaggery powder 1 teaspoon chaat masala Black salt to taste 1 teaspoon chaat masala 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder 2-3 chopped green chillies 2 cups water

Blend some coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies, cumin powder, and tamarind pulp together.

Add a few tablespoons of water to the blender to make a smooth paste of chutney.

Pour chutney into a large bowl and fill it with water.

Add jaggery powder, chaat masala, salt to taste, and jaljeera powder (optional).

Fold in 2-3 tablespoons of booni, if you want to add a crunch to pani puri water.

Refrigerate water for at least 20 minutes before serving it with pani puri.
